Saving...
time will develop, and bring its reward, I suppose Mollie has entirely supplanted Mahala, go in sly boots! Has Frank Fletcher much of an education Ellen, what has become of Kneeland, he must be about somewhere, Does [Mother?] Mills continue to pay the quarterly visits, for by this time she must be well. Sister, I am surprised you did not receive my letters I sent you, I have written one to nearly every week since my arrival in this city. I received your Photograph whilst in Iowa City, and I prize it highly. I had six of those small ones taken and now they are all gone, but I have an equal number of others. In this city 24 [Tintypes?] are taken for one dollar. Ellen, Beck Francis still lives on that place, and Arnold is teaching school his arm is very lame. When I was up in Old Chester I kept as quiet as possible, for I did not feel like being questioned too much, and if I should gone to some places and not others a rumpus would have been the result. Sister please excuse my haste for it is now after eleven O clock, and I must close. Good bye. from your Brother Milton To his Sister Ellen.
