[Cermin?] made his call to see Jane one evening, but I was at [Locedens'?] that evening, so I did not get to see him. If I ever get around there again, I shall undoubtedly see him. Ellen you have been compelled to laugh at the performances of your two Aunts, Sarah and Ellen whilst at Uncle Williams, they never spoken together all the time, but did look daggers at each other. Ellen, Sallie Harris had her Photographs taken last Tuesday, and intends sending one in a letter, I think they are perfect likenefs of her! Oh Ellen, how do you think one can stand all here, so many old courting scrapes gets told me, still after studying, I occasionally like to hear one of their old scrapes for variety sake. About one third of the students have left for home, and in a few day the examination of the candidates for graduation
