all well and busily engaged in their spring work. I can scarcely believe that the first of June is so near, time appears so very short, that I have no time to spare, for after a lesson is studied, then comes another and so on in succession, then being sick taken off quite a time. Well, Ellen I wish you were here awhile, we might have good times, but I am afraid you would not fancy the city, it is two much sameness to one used to the freedom of the western County, but you would forget that by and by. Ellen will send those things sometime next week she will write when they are started, American Express does not come to this city, my money has always been forwarded by Adams. Ellen, I forgot, what is the latest style of [wearing?] the hair "waterfall" french twist, Cattle feeder, frizzette. Latest fashion here, frizzettes, and curls
