223 Arch St Phila Sept 27th 67 Sister Ellie Your kind and welcome letter has been received a few moments ago - and now I will hasten to answer it hoping you will receive it as you did not say that my last letter reached you - but then if I write often some will come to hand. Was pleased to hear that you are all well. My health is very good at present. So are all at 224. So the calm of the summer has at last (subsided) been followed by a religious storm - I must be content by repeating to myself (for there is no one else to repeat to) Such is Life. Such is [illegible]
