In another Ellie I gave you a full description of our trip Eastward - I did not sleep at all till we arrived at Crestline Ohio - Friday Morning - did not sleep two hours all the time - Neither did Hattie - I wanted to see all of the country - Aunt and Ellie slept fully two thirds of the time. I received the key to my battery I was at the Horticultural Fair in this city last evening - Ellie I wish you could have been present to have seen the beautiful plants, flowers of all kind, fruits vegetables of every sort - shrubbery - trees - representation of the Torrid Zone. I learned more about these different productions than could be acquired [by?] years study. Reconized a great many plants that are rare here - but in the west are considered as common exotics Ellen says she will not confine her self so closely to home as she did - And she has fuffilling her threat
