Saving...
Anytime Mother wants me to get anything I am willing to do so. Ellie - what do you think of my [illegible] - I pay fifteen cents a hundred or one dollar a thousand. This french note paper five cents per quire - six quires for seventy-five cents. Thise has been auctioned out and can only be procured at these prices in a few stores. Business is already beginning to be brisk something rare for this time of year. Butter brings seventy-five [to?] this week [illegible - tear in paper] enough most vegetables in proportion. Ellie this has been a remarkable short summer with me - fall is almost here. There comes buying of [stone?]. Ellie - here you will find [Tom's?] photo. I think it is a perfect facsimile of the original. I would like to see the flowers in the garden - have not seen very many this summer. What the eyes to not see the heart does not wish for is not true in this case. Write soon to your Brother Milton. Good wishes to all.
