224 Arch St, Phila. Nov 23d [?] Sister Ellen: I shall indite you a letter this morning in anticipation of receiving one from you ere long; I was waiting for a letter from you for a great length of time but thus far doomed to disappointment still I expect one soon, and full of news. The weather today and yesterday has been cold especially today the atmosphere feels as if we were soon to have some snow, I do not want to see it snow yet, not til Christmas or somewhere about that time. Sister do you get so many sample [copies?] of papers as we did formerly, I was just going to say last winter, but we were not together last winter, it appears to me as if I only left home last week so short does the time appear. Well do not fail to get all the books and papers you want, do you take Arthur's
