We are all well here, Ellen is around again, so much for good luck, not every one is as fortunate as she has been, Cholera is now very rare, in a few weeks it will entirely cease, and the great scare will be over. Well, Sister, the news are extremely scarce with me at present so I will close for the present by asking you rather a simple question that is what have for your head, bonnet, hat or [leaf?], From your affectionate Brother Milton for his sister Ellen.
