bad as I thought. It is rather to late in the evening to start for such a long trip. It is not such a great distance over, to my other home, but it is the bad roads that makes the distance. But they are always such pleasent trips to me, that I should be very much pleased to make them more often. For when I get to the end of my journey (going west) I always find such pleasent company, which I always do enjoy, especially when you are one of the company. As the port has it, for I am lonely without you my love. Hope the time is not so far distant when our homes will be under one roof. I am sorry Our House is not progressing so fast as I should like to see it. I got the cellar dug & that end of wall torn out and rebuilt again, & also tore away some other parts of the wall & changed them. If I only could get all my building
