dont know much news. More than G. Ellis paid a few days past, his corn was fit to plow some of it, think it got its little "blades of green" rather faded our garden corn I am afraid is gone it was very nice and large, the boys are done planting save Wallace he has a little yet to plant. I cant tell much news so my letter will be rather dry I am afraid I was up last sunday to preaching & sunday school. Mrs Perham was our teacher so if you come over next sabbath in time to go along with me up, you may be in the same class as my self if you are a good boy and know your lesson better then myself which is not a hard test to excel me. They have voted for new books forgot what the name is did not vote for I dont know any thing about
