Home, Boone Co Iowa Dec.. 13th 1876 Dear [illegible]: Milton came past here this evening. and [hollooed?]. I being on the pourch whent out. handed out a letter. I looked at the subscription very boldely. but sudenly had very many things to talk about. as how is [illegible] got [illegible] (he has been very sick) how is Cullter little boy got. he hat a very sore throat getting better. Mr. & Mrs. Perham came here from Perry about two oclock today where takeing supper as the [illegible] passed they where a going to call on Mr. Vails in Perry they where not at home so we got a partial visit I was not out to hear Brady preach last Sabbath the pony not being
