East Vincent Chester Coun Oc 13th Dear Cousin Ellie It was with surprise that I received your welcome letter on the 5inst It afforded us a great deal of pleasure to hear from your although not personaly acquainted, & we are happy to open a correspondance with you, I often think of you especially Milton & William. After hearing that Milton had gone home sick I thought of writing to know if he had got well but neglected it, & as you say nothing particluar about him I hope he has got quite well. William promised to write but never did it, I suppose he spends all his leisure hours at Old Mr Santies I think he had better be getting married or he will soon be on the batchelors list. The young folks here are all getting married
