such be the case you shall receive an invitation, should you condescend to favor us with your presence on that occasion you shall have the honor of being bridesmaid. Cousin Ellie you wrote in refference to our melodeon. I am very fond of music, But it requires a great deal of practice and patience to excel. I generally play sacred music sometimes, sentimental. I think it would be delightful to pay you a visit in your western home. Father sometimes talks of paying you a visit, but I think it will hardly happen, as he think he cannot be spared from home so long. We are usually well father & mother send their love to uncle & aunt and all the rest. Enclosed is another envelope we will [note: close of letter appears at top of page 1]
