is, there is not enough scholars to engage all of my time average daily attendance is seven. over half of those do not belong to this District, very few scholars in this district. The mumps are in this neighborhood and the measles in Jamaica. I hope the measles will not come into this neighborhood because I have never had them. I would not mind having them but I would dislike to quit my school. The ground was covered with snow this morning but now it is all gone and the farmers are all busy seeding. Last week Thursday and Friday I was at Jefferson attending the "Teachers Convention" I intended to come home Friday after-noon but our church (Pres.) had a paper fair and supper I staid to attend it. the things were all made of paper, all sorts of flowers and fancy work they were most beautiful, especially the boquets made
