excused. When it is pleasant weather I walk to church in town. It is nice walking as there is side walk the whole way. How I wish I could see those sweet little cousins. Gracie and Little Albert must be quite proud of their little brother. You ask me whither I had a nice name for the little cherub have been thinking and thinking about it and think that Herbert would be a nice and handy name and call him Herbie for short. What do you think about it? I know that Uncle Albert will like it for it is something like his name. Well I must bring this letter to a close hoping this will find you all well, as for myself I am just better of a severe cold. Write soon. From your affectionate niece Maud R. Rhoad.
