Saving...
Who was so good so true so useful & endearing to all in life - has passed away forever. It is left for us to cherish his memory in thought as well as in deed, also to maintain silent respecting the failings of Mrs Mowrer, out of regard to our departed but dearly loved brother. I felt sorry for the woman more than once while sitting in her presence during my visit to them. I thought if we all knew the cause of her actions we would "pity rather than blame" The Dispenser of all good knows why she was chosen to occupy such near relation to us. I did not get over to see the precious dust Milton left laid away to rest but as you know some of the children did. They tell again & again of the Kindness they were offered & received of you folks. They brought Wm's & Aunts [Lizzie's?] & the childrens pictures home. They are cherished gifts. I am truly sorry for Nathan & Laura's little boy. I think they are doing right in trying to improve the condition of the unfortionate child. Sarah.
