I was a come down to the mouth of the River today but it is to stormy. There is a steam boat stuck on the bar & cannot get off the surf keeps pushing her towards the shore the men [illegible] out to the shore & I am at work for the men that owns the boat. Well Ella you had ort to come west & see this country for the leaves are green the hole near & the flowers is in bloom every month in the year there was one little snow [illegible] here in January but this is not farming country it is to mountainous but the people don't feed their stock here Well I have [illegible] in from asking a [illegible] it is nice from [illegible] Salt Water
