Saturday Sept 4th Prepared for school Monday. Miss Bennett called on May. Nothing else in particular. Sunday Sept 5th Went to church with Mamma in the morning. We took our supper, rode out to "McKnights" springs & ate it there, but the mosquitoes were so thick that we were glad to leave. Monday Sept 6th This is "fair week" & school begins too. We did not study much today. Prof. Irish was busy all day changeing classes & so the 16th class was dismissed. Played croquet after school till it was to dark Gracie C. & I made an Ode to
