Mrs. Adams carried us home in a carriage. We all were tired when we got back. Sunday Oct. 3rd Mamma, May and I went to church this morning, Dr. Bingham preached. The whole family were riding this afternoon, around by McKnights and down by the cemetery. Monday Oct 4th Nothing in particular Tuesday Oct. 5th We have got two sewing girls today, Katie Clarasy an Katie Dunagan, They fixed the underskirts of my last winters school dress, with knife pleatings around the bottom. I am going to have a new waist and overskirt to wear with it. German is to be taught in the public schools. I am going to take
