lessons, and so is Linn and almost every body I know. We had to stay after school tonight, to get registered. Wednesday, Oct 6th. Went over to Linns tonight and had a queer time. Linn and I have got a good joke called "St. John." Thursday, 7th, Had the first German lesson tonight. Mr. Sass is the Third Ward teacher. Queer name, is'nt it? He does not speak near loud enough, or keep a bit of order. May and I went down town after supper and brought home 3 hats to see how Mamma liked them. She is going to keep one for May and take the rest back again. Friday, Oct.8th. Nothing in particular. Linn went to Rip Van Winkle tonight.
