Tuesday May 23rd. I stayed home from school this afternoon to take care of Gracie & tell the ladies of the club that they must come in the side door because the front porch has just been painted today. Wednesday May 24th I arose at 4.45 this morning. Thursday 25th Club at my house. Full attendance - Friday 26th Nothing of importance. Saturday 27th. Work and play - chiefly the latter. Sunday. 28th May & I went to church. Miss Hill my Sunday School teacher sprained her ankle & so the class recited at her residence on Locust St. instead of going to Sunday School
