Wednesday June 28th. Lillie & I played most of the morning. Meg & I have something new, the "H. S. S." Thursday June 29th. I went to Linn & Grace's picnic today, & had a splendid time. I guess it is the last picnic that I shall attend, before we go east. We stayed all day & I acted too silly for any use at all - Friday June 30th. Some tired today & very lazy. Saturday July 1st Cold & rainy. July is "coming in like a lion", I hope it will "go out like a lamb." Linn & Grace spent the afternoon with me & Alice came over after supper. M's & my plan a" hoax."
