stated that many are still missing & over thirty are found. Papa road out in the afternoon & helped carry one girl, only 15. I can not write it all, it is so dreadful. Thursday July 6th. Very warm today. Linn has been up to her Aunt Lizzie's all yesterday & today & I am lonesome & cross. If she dont come down pretty soon I shall have to go after her. Friday July 7th. Nothing much occurred today. The H. S. S. net at the usual hour. The other club met in the evening at Megs. Full attendance & splendid time, of course. Linne at her Aunt's again. O, dear. Somebody has got "facial area" I'm sure.
