Monday July 10th. Linn & I had lots of fun this morning. I did not do much today. Spent the afternoon at Linn's & the evening at Kaie H's & Linn's The Third Ward Promotions were in The Telegraph " this evening. I am promoted & so is almost every body. Tuesday, July 11th. Lillie (Amy) came up to tell me that I was promoted & invited me to take a ride with her to Center Guve, on a errand for her father who buys the provisions for the men who are rebuilding roads in that direction. We were gone 3 hours & had a jolly time. Meg's in the evening.
