Wednesday July 12th. Nothing much. Saturday July 15th. Last Thursday afternoon, May Linn & I started on a visit to Ella Richard's. We did not return till last evening & had a magnificent time. Didnt we revel in raspberries & cherries & ect. though! We did. Mamma put up raspberries today. I spent the evening at Linn's. Sunday July 16th. May & I went to church. Dr. Bingham preached. Text, "Boast not of tomorrow, for thou knowest not what a day it may bring forth." Our family went to ride in the evening. We rode to see the ruins of Rockdale & returned home by way of Grandview Avenue.
