Monday July 17th. Carrie Moser died today. It was very sudden. I cant realize that she is dead & going to be laid away under the sod, & we will never see her again, on earth. If she were not so young it would seem less sad, yet "Come he slow, or come he fast, It is but death, that comes at last. " Tuesday. July 18th. Worked a little today. Wednesday 19th. Meg & I went to Carrie Moser's funeral today & although we did not intend to, Mr. Baker insisted upon our going up to the Cemetary. Thursday 20th. Club at Amy's this evening. We all had a good time - She is going East next Monday or Tuesday.
