Norris Drops A Couloured Solution of Tarterized Antimony in rectified Spirits of Wine. Taylors Cure for deafness Garlic infused in oil of Almonds and Couloured with Alicanet_ root. Freemans Bathing Spirits Opodeldoc Coloured with Daffys Elixcir. Ruspins Tincture for Teeth Florentine Iris-root 8 Ounces Cloves, 1 Ounce Rectified Spirits 2 Pints Ambergris 1 Scruple Scouring Drops Oil of Turpentine perfumed with Essential Oil Lemon-peel. To Dress Chill-blinds after they are Broken Apply Alum [-burned?] and little Treacle An External application For the Rheumatism Take of Salt-petre a quarter of a pound Pound it and put it into a quart of good vinegar Let it Simmer in a pan near the fire untill the petre is dissolved and then bottle it Rub in some of this Twice a day with the hand rubing untill it is all dried in A Liniment for the gout Add very gradually 40 drops of oil of vitriol to an Ounce and quarter of Olive oil And after being well shaken and having stood a quarter of an hour Add two Drams of oil of Turpentine. Eye water Take a lime and [illegible] Dr Woodfards Remedy for Consumption and other weakness Milk 3 quarts One bone-heel Chopt small Ising-glass One ounce Harts-horn shavings One Ounce Brown sugar Candy 4 Ounces [dry?] Bake the whole with abach of Bread. Strain the Liquor from the when Cold it will be a rich gelly Let a sufficient quantity of this be mixed with a half a pint either of Milk or water so as to make a Rich portion and drank twice or Thrice a day. Eye waters Take of [Golands?] extract of [Sotern?] 10 drops Spirits of Camphor 20 drops Rose water half a pint This is very usefull when the Eye is much inflamed Another Take vitriolated zinc two grains Rose water 7 ounces Pour alittle in two cups and keep a wet rag in each so that when the one begins to get warm use the other Another An Ointment Take prepared Calomal one scruple Spermaceti Ointment half an ounce Mix them well together in a glass morter Apply a very small quantity to each corner of the Eye and also the [edges?] of the Eyelids night and morning Let the following lotion be use before the ointment Take acetated zinc 6 grain Rose water 6 ounces Mix and wash the Eyes well This never fails The bowels be kept by cooling Physic
