For Diseases of the Liver Take of the Herb called Liver-Wort two handfuls Spring-water 3 Pints Stoned-Raisons half-a pound boil it untill it is reduced one half Bottle it and take a Wine glass-full every morning Take notice a decoction of Dandylion is also very good in diseases of the Liver For The Measles Let the Patient live chiefly on Water Gruel or Panada The only Medicine necessary in general is small doses of Antimonial-Wine two or three times a day in a little tea The dose for a grown person may be 10 or 15 drops If the Cough is troublesome Take frequently a spoonfull of Barley water sweetened with a little Oil of Almonds And observe as soon as ever the pimples begin to become dry and scally give a dose of Physic and the third day after give another If this is not done it will frequently be followed with bad Eyes or some other dangerous complaints Let the sick person be kept moderately warm but not hot during the disease
