An ointment for Burns Tealds and non wounds of any kind in man or beast but not good for lumps or old wounds Taje if Gold Litharge as much as you please put it into a morter and rub it to a fine powder Then put it into a tea cup and add a very little vinegar thin it [wall] with a little stick then add a little [sroot] oil thin it [wall] again and to continue to add vinegar and oil in small quanties for fourteen or fifteen times stirring it in all everytime you add vinegar or oil take notice if you have two much vinegar it will not mix with the oil and in that case you must add more oil Let some of this ointment be applied to the injured part twice a day on linen cloath or if it be in summer on a dock bag For the Heaves in Horses Cascavvilla & Gebtrab 1 to 2 drams each. Oil of Carraways 10 drops. With [minibange] to form a ball If Irritation of the Bowels is observed, add of opium 10 or 12 drams. When the cough is particulary troublesome and the creature labors in respiration give the following Dried [Squills] powdered, 1 dram Guim Ammonium 3 drams opium 10 drams. Given in balls Sweating Ball Emethe Tartar & Asafootida each 1 dram Liquirice powder & [lijnis] 10 for at all for one dose. Alterative Ball Emethic Tartar 3 drams Aloes 9 " Hand Soap 1 ounce Ginger 1 [oiruple] Purgative Ball Aloes 7 drams Castile soup 4 drams oil carraways 6 drops with muscilage for a ball for 1 dose Alternative Ball Aloes 9 drams Calomel 1 dram Hand soap 1/2 ounce for 1 dose
