Make it into 20 pills and take as many as one [illegible] to [purge?] [gently?]. Another Pill for the same purpose. Good Blacking 1/4 lb [illegible] black, table spoonful sweet oil, 1 tea cup full molasses, 1 pint vinigar. Mix the oil with the ivory black [illegible] then the molassas. Bottle for use. Good. Dr. [Abern'thy?] Method of treating indigestion for an adult. Let one [grain?] of [illegible] and ten [illegible] of Rhubarb be taken every night for two weeks if necessary. And [illegible] an oil of vitmiol be taken in a tea cup full of cold water when the stomach is empty once every day. For the Bloody [flux?] Take a [vessle?] that will hold, and put about 3 inches of warm water as warm as agreable and keep putting in more warm as it gets cold. Sit in it [illegible] of an hour. Mix the whole together. Dose 1 table spoonful 3 times a day before eating. An excellent Remedy for drowsiness 2oz Hawthorn, 1oz [illegible], 1 oz Sweet spirits [wine?] [Certian?] cure for [illegible]. 2 oz [illegible] [illegible] in 1 quart water, 2 oz [Annis?] seed, 1 oz powdered Rhubarb, 1/2 oz gum [illegible], 1 oz ginger.
