Another to make Shrub. Take a Gallon & Pint of Brandy or Rum, a Quart of either Lemon or Orange Juice strain'd, with not quite half the Peel of the same; let it stand 24 Hours, then strain it & put to it two Pounds & half of double refined Sugar; put it in a Vessel & shake it 4 or 5 times every Day for 5 Days; then let it stand till clear & bottle it. NB. If it is made of Orange put 2 lb of Sugar. To make Liquadilla. Take the Peel of 6 or 8 Oranges & 6 Lemons
