Ratifies Take 1 oz of bitter almonds - 1 oz of sweet almonds 1 lb loaf powdered sugar to be mixed with the white of 1 egg, drop them on clean writing paper, and bake them in a quick oven. Mrs. G Bunns. Take 19 oz of flour. 1/4 loaf sugar 2 oz of butter 3 eggs well beaten 1/2 int of new milk warm the milk as warm as the milk from the Cow a large spoonsful of yeast, and a little lemon peel set them in a warm place to rise and make them 3 square, wash them over with milk and sift some sugar over them.
