to make it wood you make take vermilion and lintseed oyl and mix them together make it a right consistance and warm the wood before the fier and put it on withe your pin cell. and if it be not a deep enough colour, and let it dry and lay it over again and what you have a mind to make blew take blew smalt and what you have a mind to make green doe it withe vergus finly beaten and what you have a min to make black doe it withe Ivory blake or lamb black and to any other colour of wood take oker and umber and grind any of your Colours you make use
