Raisin Turn-Overs. 1 cup seeded raisins Rind 1 lemon (or candied lemon & orange peel) Small piece citron. Chop finely. Stir in one beaten egg & juice one lemon Put in puff paste & bake as you would pies. Color apple pie with cranberries & bake with one crust Date Cream Pie - Bake a single rich crust in a deep pie plate or tin, which is better, pricking it thickly to prevent rising or blistering. To each eight-inch pie plate allow one and one-half cupfuls of stoned and chopped dates, mixed with sufficient sweetened and flavored whipped cream to fill. Cover the top with a meringue browned lightly, and when cold dot with bits of bright red jelly. This is as good as it looks.
