Molasses Sauce 1 cup molasses 1/2 " water 1 tablespoon butter Little cinnamon, nutmeg pinch salt. 3 tablespoons vinegar or lemon. nice for apple or rice puddings Birdie Nest Core and peel 8 apples and fill with sugar and nutmeg. 1 cup tapioca soaked in 1 pt. milk 2 eggs. salt. Sugar to taste. This is improved by adding a layer of jelly and frosting.
