(Carnation) Gilly Flower Wine. 100 Flowers to 1 gallon of water, boil the water, then pour it on the flowers, let it stand till cold, boil the liquid with 2 lbs of sugar a 1/4 of an hour, cool it, & put 1. table spoonsful of fresh yeast, then put it in a bottle or cask air tight for 3 months; add 2 noggins of rum, & bottle it for use. To make Currant Wine. To 6. Gallons of water, put 18 lbs of good raw Sugar, boil it a 1/4 of an hour, clear it with the white of Eggs, when cold put a spoonful or two of good fresh yeast; next morng to every gallon put
