Lemon Cream. 1/2 lb of Isinglass dissolved in water put the rind of 2 & juice of 1 Lemon into a basin, strain the isinglass into it, let it stand till cold, have ready boiled 1 pint of cream with sugar to your taste, when cold, mix all together, & put it in a glass dish; lay over it a few apricots. - To make Apple Cake. Take common green apples, the hardest & largest you can get; prepare them as if for a pie; to every lb of apples, put 1/2 lb powdered lump sugar, to 12 lbs weight of apples, 24 cloves, add the rind
