Plain [Queaucakes?] 1 lb sugar, 1 lb flour, 1/2 lb Butter 6 Eggs juice of 2 lemons, a little volatile salts, a pinch of salt, mix sugar & Eggs together then butter and flour Almond Iceing To Every 1/2 lb Loaf sugar add 1/2 lb sweet Almonds add the whites of 2 Eggs and a little Rosewater - Sugar Iceing To Every lb of Loaf sugar add the whites of 4 Eggs and 1 oz fine Starch Plum cake 1/2 lb Butter 1 lb Flour 1/2 lb Sugar 1/2 lb currants 6 Eggs candied peel, few almonds - Victoria Sandwiches 1/2 lb sugar 1/4 lb flour, 2 oz ground rice 4 Eggs 1 teaspoonful of baking powder, a few drops Essence of lemon -
