Lemon Pudding "British Weekly" 1 pkt Cakeoma 4 to 6 ozs finely chopped suet 1 pinch salt & 2 eggs 1/2 glass milk The grated rind of two & juice of one lemon Scotch Pancakes or Drop Scones 1 lb Flour 2 oz's Paisley Flour 4 oz. Sugar 1 egg Nearly 1 pint milk. Tomato Chutney Mrs Dawson's recipe 1 lb green tomatoes, sliced fine, sprinkle with salt & let remain for 12 hours - 1 large onion cut fine, 1/2 lb sugar, 1 desert-spoon-ful of ground ginger Cayenne pepper 1 teaspoonful 12 Cloves - 1 teaspoonful Cinnamon - 1/2 pint vinegar Boil all well together while cooked. Cork light. Green Tomato Pickle 10 lbs Green tomatoes - 2 qts best vinegar 2 lbs Dewerara sugar - 1 lb Onions, sliced thin
