To clean Satineth or Lutesbring. 2 Oz Honey, 1/4 lb of soft soap, 1/2 a pint of gin, to be well beaten together just before using it. Then take a pretty hard brush, & with it rub the ingredient well on the article you are cleaning, then rinse the silk through two or three times in pure water, take it out, and without ringing the wet from it, and without ringing the wet from it, throw it over the clothe's rail to drain, & when nearly dry, iron it on the wrong side, and your articles will look almost equal to new. - from Miss B. - Tooth Powder. 1 Dr of Camphor to 1 oz of Chalk.
