Chamness My dear Friend, In the refreshing streams of Divine life, that spring from the Heavenly fountain that fills me heart with great peace and consolation; and flies away to thee to, whom, I am bound in pure Gospel love beyond words to express: O, such a high and favor-ed dream I had of thee last night: I was in com-pany with thee and thou encouraged me to stand firm. And to allow nothing they did at Woodland trouble me etc. And when I took thy hand to bid thee farewell thou said to me, 'Joel, be true, don't thee fail to exercise thy gift in the ministry. And let none of them destroy thee with their slanders. They did not give thee thy gift in the ministry; and they can't take it from thee. These were our parting words. Soon after I left thee I heard thee calling me. Thou was at the window. I returned and thou told me saying: "Joel, let no man take thy crown. O, how deep these things are. And the
