-89- in obedience to the heavenly call that I heard in Heart and Soul many, many times. Ida, I don't wonder at the fix they are in in Woodland; blind as they are; ignorant and strangers to the voice that led the people safely through the Red Sea. And out of Sod-om; those who chose to go. The same day it rained fire and brimstone from heaven. It looks to me that people are as blind to-day as in those days. The love of money and the craze of the world; has stiffled and killed out the pure breathings of God's Spirit in many. They have forsak-en the leadings of His Holy Spirit. And are now following the dictates of man; that always leads into confusion and trouble. There is a cloud of darkness over the militant church to-day. Many have fall-en by the way. I wrote to Jeremiah Allen in reply to his letter to me: somethings which the angel commanded his servant, John, to write to the seven churches in Asis, Rev.
