We had supper at Joe & Alma Blazek's home where we staid til near two o'clock next morning, when Merlin came back and took us to the train, he carried me on board to my berth which was over the wheels, so I had a rough ride, and did not sleep that night. The next train was better, and I was surprised how quiet it was in the poolman car, no doors slaming or the noises common in the day coach. I rested pretty well and the vibration of the riding gave me better circulation and appetite, and every one was so kind to me and helpfull. I had to be carried off and on all the trains and wheeled in a chair on the platforms. I felt rather happy as we rode along. It was so noisy in the Englewood depot that I had about all I could stand and was about ready to break down & cry when I got relief by getting on the next train. We seemed to feel a peace of mind that confirmed us that we were in our right places, and mamma
