The neighbors would keep bringing boquets of flowers to me. And the lady from whom the house was rented gave me beautiful red tulips, so I had flowers all the time. Georgetta took lots of pains to cook good things for me and us; and I was taken good care of. Occasionally Edmund Hatcher would bring us a good fish or some fresh fruit.
