- 21 - would know what she was, and not keep asking her. We were interested in seeing the Indians who went to school accross the street from our hotel. They looked gifted and rather nobel. One was a member of the Friends. One day mamma and Georgetta came into my room and surprised me, by giving me a fur coat. That made me glad for I had needed one so badly; and I found it a great comfort. We also bot some dress goods so mamma and Georgetta got to see the busy crowded streets of London. I did too, the evening we left. Georgetta and I left one day before mamma did. When we reached Birmingham they did not succeed in getting a wheel chair for me. So a bright faced young man laid our suitcase on the motor baggage truck for me to sit on; and thus I had a ride to the taxi. But, it was quite amusing to me. When we reached 328 Edmund Hatcher could not find the key to our bungalo; so we went on and just as Georgetta and our dear neighbor had gotten me up to the door of her house where she had offered us to spend the night; here comes Edmund Hatcher walking down the center of the street, bare headed at
