Auntie, Georgetta and Theoline walked on ahead of us. I was very tired, but felt cheered up after meeting sweet faced, Aunt Inger, and cousins, Jennie and Ida Mary. And they all welcomed us to 'Norge'. Uncle carried me into the cozy living room where I layed down to rest, now eight o'clock in the afternoon. And soon, we enjoyed a good supper which consisted of two kinds of bread, sweet cheese, gumme, milk and lepsa. They always have silence before and after the meals. We had a good night's rest. And in the morning dear Uncle came in to see me; with such a genuinely cheerful smile on his face saying, "How is it with my little girl this morning?" I told him I had slept better than I had since leaving home. And I felt better already since getting to his home.
