-91- Two little girls! I know of two little girls With each a few little curls In stature they are not very high But O, that little twinkle in their eye One is brunett, and the other is blond And of both I am so very fond. - They are gentle, quiet and sweet And oft they come to me in stocking feet: Their fingers are cold and their hearts are warm And to part with them causes me to mourn I've sat and I've talked with them And I've written verses with my pen I've held their little hands While love seemed strong as bands They smile and wave at me And in their faces I can see Love that gives forth sunshine From these two little girls of mine.
