I am going from here to St Louis and then to Indianapolis, where George is and where I shall stop I don't know but don't think I shall stop till I get to Old New Hamp Charly I tell you what it is I am pretty well played out I don't care much which way the fence tips with me (Island?) right on the top hardly know which way to jump they have pulled about 30lbs off from me since the first of January. I have been thinking about going out and cross the plain this summer but it looks rather dubious now I may go yet it will be all owing to how I feel when I get to St Louis. I did think that
