We did not find the Photograph that you promised to send, the children (hunted?) the Geography all over but but could not find it (Lottie?) wanted to know how we liked your picture she thought Plymouth Oct. 21st 1864 it was a good one but we can't judge until we see it. My Dear Charles we received Mary's picture the book &letter last wednesday. morning all safe & I intended to have answered it last week but did not, I miss Mary about writing letters as well as many other things very much your father says it is a good picture but does not seem inclined to send for any more but he has the Blues so much this fall I did not expect he would I should like 2 or 3 more of them but if you order some more, you need not send them on, but keep them & fetch them with you when you come home We sent you a letter 2 weeks
