sawmill at Andover last fall or hurt on a circular saw so he did not live but a short time. What Co. is Marshaltown in. I have not yet learned whether it was in Lamar Co. or not. Your father told us 2 or 3 days ago to write you to lookout for Joseph Cayer if he come your way for he was rather trickey & he was talking of going west but we have since learned that he has got a home at Haverhill jail for the present - They say Mrs. Philbrick is chief cook at the Central house at the village & John works there also. Hiram Clark saw Richard Philbrick at Manchester week before last I understood that he was at work there. The report is that he has bought Joseph Cayer place. I don't know which women he is a going to have live with him, F. H. Chase preacher at Canaan N. H. Yours L. H. Clark
